With spring in the air, now is the right time to experiment with all the beauty trends that you’ve been hearing about. Whether it is something dramatic or subtle, there is something for every woman in current trends.

Natural and organic beauty products have risen to prominence this season. The Origins makeup line carries everything from bronzers and foundations, to lipsticks and blushes that will give you the coverage that is needed without the look of actually having makeup on.

Like most organic beauty aids, the All or Nothing sheer finishing powder for all skin types is a must-have for all makeup kits, and though priced at $25, is dually beneficial as a health and beauty product.

Another beauty essential this season is Origins’ Automagically eyeliner pencil, capable of enhancing both dramatic and muted looks.

Priced at $15, the creamy formula is long lasting and has a precision tip that allows for the line fit for the perfectionist fashionista. An added bonus with this purchase is the package, which is user-friendly and ensures that consumers can see how much of the liner has been used.

Another hot look that has emerged from the runways is the braid. Taking the braid from elementary school to young adult style, a more sophisticated braid is being worn in many different styles and forms. This will transform looks from drab and dull to one that pops and draws attention in a mere matter of minutes.

Even celebrities have been known to embrace this new fashion statement and change the definition of the braid. The side braid has been a popular choice among celebs like Taylor Swift and Eva Longoria. The most appealing aspect of this beauty trend is its DIY aspect, saving money and time from beauty regimens.

Another popular choice, that Gabrielle Union was seen sporting, is the fishtail braid. Although it might seem like this is a difficult task to accomplish without a personal hairstylist, the fishtail braid is relatively simple and can take less than five minutes to complete depending on the length of the hair.

Tangerine, a popular spring hue, has also made its way onto the beauty scene. From nail polish, to lipstick, to accessories, several products are available to give an extra pop of color. One such option is tangerine lipstick. It is important to remember, however, that this bold lip should be paired with a fresh face. For anyone with dark hair, fair skin and wishing to be a bit more adventurous with color, try Shiseido’s Perfect Rouge in Day Lily for $25.

However, if you have dark hair and are dark-skinned, then you should consider the MAC Tendertone lip balm in Purring for only $15. The blue undertones in this lip balm make for a bit of drama. And because it is a lip balm, it serves not only as a dramatic statement, but also as a skincare agent.

These beauty trends will have women stepping out in style this season, while also contributing to better skin.
