Baruch's Undergraduate Student Government elections were tampered with when University Student Senate members and staff were seen promoting candidates during the elections on Tuesday, April 15 to Thursday, April 17. The race for Undergraduate Student Government offices ended on Thursday, April 17 and the final votes were tallied. Of the 40 open positions, seven were contested, 32 were uncontested and one still remains vacant. Now that the dust has settled, the Baruch One party finds itself represented in 38 offices. On Tuesday, April 29, the Board of Directors held a meeting to talk about appeals for events such as the Caribbean Show. However, according to Anthony Hernandez, president of the Undergraduate Student Government, the meeting turned into an hour and a half discussion of how the student government should be allocating club budgets.
